We live in the Greatest Nation in the history of planet Earth. That is not just a catchy title to draw visitors to our website. Think about it. At anytime, day or night, we have access to clean water and food. Most countries can’t say that. The United States of America allows us to live free and pursue happiness with the wonderful natural resources we see all around us. Specifically in Michigan, we have lakes and ponds everywhere and they are beautiful. We love and feel honored to keep them beautiful! We are passionate about what we do and this can only be possible in a free country.
How great is it that we can wake up every morning and do what we enjoy? Welcome to Savin Lake Services! If that’s not enough we get to help others by protecting their investments and preserving their lakes and ponds so they can share them with family and friends. We even get to employ many red blooded Americans who feel the same way. Only in America!
WHY IS THIS COUNTRY SO AMAZING?
It really comes down to one word, “love”. It has been said that there is no greater love than when one lays their life down for another. Since the Revolutionary War, over 1,000,000 soldiers have sacrificed their lives so that we can have the freedoms we have. The word love is a verb. It is a word of action. It is not a feeling. We see countless times in America when disaster strikes, people ban together. This happens at the National level with events like 9/11 and hurricanes. It also happens in small towns in Michigan when a family loses a child to an early death. Sure, we could complain about that things we don’t like. For instances, taxes or an election that didn’t turn out the way we wanted. At Savin Lake Services we are taking the opportunity this Memorial Day to focus on the good.
Another great thing about America is the free exchange of ideas we can use to help and encourage each other. We want to use this blog to inform our clients of lake and pond related things and build sort of a family. For example, we don’t want you to get Swimmer’s Itch. We also want you to save money knowing that you don’t have to drive to the ocean to go surfing. Do you know about Wake Boating? Is your lake, river or channel too shallow for you to enjoy your boat? MEMORIAL DAY NEEDS YOUR HELP
If you do any kind of old fashioned shopping on Memorial Day you’re likely going to see old veterans sitting outside looking for loose change and handing out poppies. Don’t just drop in some money to check a feel good box. Savin Lake Services would like you to consider finding two veterans and look them in the eye as you shake their hand and sincerely thank them for their service. It’s OK, you can tear up as you read this. America is the best because the best choose to serve.
